حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ خَلِيلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ـ وَهْوَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ـ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ لَمَّا أُصِيبَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ جَعَلَ صُهَيْبٌ يَقُولُ وَاأَخَاهُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ “‏ إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ لَيُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ الْحَىِّ ‏”‏‏.‏ Narrated Abu Burda: That his father said, “When `Umar was stabbed, Suhaib started crying: O my brother! `Umar said, ‘Don’t you know that the Prophet said: The deceased is tortured for the weeping of the living’?” Chain : Isma’il bin al-Khlyl al-Khzaz – ‘Ali bin Ms’hr – Sulaiman bin Abi Sulaiman – Abu Barda bin Abi Musa al-Asha’ari – Abu Musa al-Asha’ari Data Source Disclaimer: The data presented on this website has been meticulously collected from Sunnah.com , a recognized and authentic source.
