Sahih Bukhari Book: 80, Hadith: 6409

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلاً يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ ‏ “‏ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ، لَقَدْ أَذْكَرَنِي كَذَا وَكَذَا آيَةً أَسْقَطْتُهَا فِي سُورَةِ كَذَا وَكَذَا ‏”‏‏.‏ Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet heard a man reciting (the Qur’an) in the mosque.
