حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ سَهْمِ بْنِ، مِنْجَابٍ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏
“‏ لاَ تُسَافِرِ الْمَرْأَةُ ثَلاَثًا إِلاَّ مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

Abu Sa’id (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:A woman should not set out on three (days’) journey, but in the company of a Mahram.
