وَحَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا، يَقُولُ لَقَدْ كُنَّا نَعْزِلُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏ Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported:We used to practise ‘azl during the life of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him).
