وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ، بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ أَوْ أَخْبَرَ الْقَوْمَ، وَأَنَا فِيهِمْ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُوَيْدَ بْنَ غَفَلَةَ، قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ زَيْدِ بْنِ صُوحَانَ وَسَلْمَانَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ فَوَجَدْتُ سَوْطًا ‏.‏ وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِهِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ فَاسْتَمْتَعْتُ بِهَا ‏.‏ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَسَمِعْتُهُ بَعْدَ عَشْرِ سِنِينَ يَقُولُ عَرَّفَهَا عَامًا وَاحِدًا ‏.‏ Shu’ba reported:Salama b. Kuhail informed me or he informed people and I was among them. He said: I heard Sawaid b. Ghafala who reported: I went out along with Zaid b. Suhan and Salman b.
