Sahih Muslim Book: 37, Hadith: 5365

وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ “‏ وَاكْفِئُوا الإِنَاءَ أَوْ خَمِّرُوا الإِنَاءَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ تَعْرِيضَ الْعُودِ عَلَى الإِنَاءِ ‏.‏ This hadith is reported on the authority of Jabir but with a slight change of wording, and he did not mention the words: ” Putting a stick across the vessel.” Chain : Yahya bin Yahya bin Bukayr – Muhammad bin Muslim bin Tadras – Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah Data Source Disclaimer: The data presented on this website has been meticulously collected from Sunnah.com , a recognized and authentic source.
