Sahih Muslim Book: 37, Hadith: 5366

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ أَغْلِقُوا الْبَابَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏”‏ وَخَمِّرُوا الآنِيَةَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ ‏”‏ تُضْرِمُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ ثِيَابَهُمْ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ Jabir reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying:Shut the doors; the rest of the hadith is the same but with a slight variation of wording: Cover the utensils, and further said: It (the mouse) may set fire to the clothes of the residents of the house.
