حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ،
عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ
أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏
“‏ لاَ تَدْخُلُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ
كَلْبٌ وَلاَ صُورَةٌ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

Abu Talha reported:I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Angels do not enter the house in which there is a dog or a statue.
